Alexis Sanchez still leads FPL points charts and gameweek 25 saw the Chilean torch Hull with a 15 point performance. Unfortunately, Sanchez isn’t in action this weekend, so he can’t be one of your gameweek 26 midfielders.
You still have plenty of options for your side, however.
Sadio Mane – Liverpool
Games: 22; Goals: 11; Total FPL points: 132
Sadio Mane is back and a must as one of your gameweek 26 midfielders. The forward was brilliant last time out against Tottenham and gameweek 26’s fixture against Leicester provides him with plenty of goal scoring potential.
Leicester have just sacked Claudio Ranieri and the team is in tatters. Whether its is daily fantasy sports or FPL, get Mane in your team.
Manuel Lanzini – West Ham
Games: 19; Goals: 5; Total FPL points: 84
Manuel Lanzini has been inconsistent this season, but the West Ham midfielder has provided enough potential to interest FPL managers. Gameweek 26 is a great time to get Lanzini in your team’s midfield. The Hammers take on Watford in gameweek 26. Only £6.3, Lanzini could offer points. Buyer beware, he only scored two in the reverse fixture.
Pedro – Chelsea
Games: 22; Goals: 6; Total FPL points: 104
Pedro has scored two in two in all competitions and offers FPL managers a great option in midfield. Pedro has been a solid performer under Antonio Conte and Chelsea’s upcoming fixture list leaves plenty of room for potential.
Still only £6.9, Pedro is a cheaper option that returns points than some of his contemporaries.
Gylfi Sigurdsson – Swansea
Games: 25; Goals: 8; Total FPL points: 126
Gylfi Sigurdsson has been at the heart of Swansea’s turnaround. Despite playing the English Premier League leaders in gameweek 26, Sigurdsson is a great option for your midfield. Sure, he may be pricey (£7.5) with Chelsea up this weekend, but he returned eight points in the teams’ previous match this weekend.
Sigurdsson is a solid option for gameweek 26 midfielders in your team.
Nacer Chadli – West Brom Albion
Games: 20; Goals: 5; Total FPL points: 83
Nacer Chadli hasn’t been full of goals this season for West Brom, but he has been solid at times. Chadli has averaged six points in his last two FPL gameweeks. In fact, he has scored six points in three of his last four matches.
Chadli has Bournemouth and Crystal Palace up next, and points potential is high.
