Gameweek 31 saw a surprise top player of the week as Abel Hernandez finished the midweek with a 14 point haul. The midweek matches also saw the surprise of two Watford players cracking the team of the week. Gameweek 32 FPL kicks off a massive weekend of Premier League action.
So, who makes our top 5 gameweek 32 FPL buys?
Dele Alli – Tottenham
Total FPL points: 180; GW 31: 12 points
Dele Alli was a brilliant selection for midweek. Alli tallied 12 points as Spurs came from behind to beat Swansea, 3-1. Spurs’ next three matches are winnable as the team attempt to hang on to second place. Watford, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are up before the team plays Arsenal in the North London Derby.
Eden Hazard – Chelsea
Total FPL points: 181; GW 31: 13 points
Eden Hazard’s two goal performance against Manchester City was another solid outing for a player that has redeemed himself this season. Chelsea have a difficult run upcoming, but Bournemouth arrive before a trip to Old Trafford against Manchester United.
Mesut Ozil – Arsenal
Total FPL points: 122; GW 31: 14 points
Mesut Ozil popped up with a brilliant midweek FPL points return. Gameweek 32 FPL sees the Gunners play Crystal Palace. The team have a winnable three match run up to the North London Derby. Teammate Alexis Sanchez has seen his form slip over the last few weeks. Ozil could be a great alternative for your gameweek 32 FPL or daily fantasy sports team.
Michael Keane – Burnley
Total FPL points: 98; GW 31: 9 points
Michael Keane was one of FPL’s best defensive performers in gameweek 31. He didn’t have the monster week that Watford’s Miguel Britos did, but the Hornets’ defender is suspended for gameweek 32 FPL. Keane will only cost you £5 ahead of Burnley’s clash with Middlesbrough.
Middlesbrough are seven points from safety and have scored the fewest goals in the Premier League. Another solid defensive performance from Keane is on the horizon.
Jamie Vardy – Leicester
Total FPL points: 115; GW 31: 9 points
Jamie Vardy had another solid FPL gameweek as he tallied nine points against a sorry Sunderland side. Vardy is averaging nine points a match over the last five games. Despite Leicester playing Everton in gameweek 32 FPL, he has the potential to continue his form.
Leicester don’t have an easy route to the end of the season, but worries of relegation are pretty much over. There is the Champions League beginning again next week; so this could be the last gameweek you select him for your FPL or DFS side.
