The 35-year-old Caballero will play as back up to Thibaut Courtois and should see action in the EFL Cup and the FA Cup.
Following the signing, Caballero spoke to Chelsea’s website about the move.
“I am very happy to join Chelsea, the champions of England. I am looking forward to meeting the guys and helping the club achieve more success in the coming season,” Caballero stated.

Chelsea are still working on the signature of Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco for £35 million. Meanwhile, the club have already worked out the deal for highly rated 16-year-old Ethan Ampadu from Exeter.
