Watford FC today captured the headlines with the announcement that they had signed Brazilian striker Richarlison from Fluminense for £13 million.
The 20 year old forward had scored 19 times in 67 appearances for Fluminense and has appeared for his country’s Under 20 side, where he scored twice in 8 appearances.
Watford introduced the player to the English press after his work permit application was granted and has committed to a five year deal at Vicarage Road.
Watford fans were delighted with the news, as they took to Twitter expressing their delight :
Let's not put pressure on too early, but I'd say it's fair to assume we've signed Neymar 2.0. #watfordfc

English bookmakers Sky Bet make him just 10/1 to score 15 times this season, and 50/1 to score 20 times or more.
It may be a little bit of a reach for Richarlison to become ‘Neymar2.0’ – but theres no doubt that Watford are filling their team with exciting youngsters, having already captured the likes of Nathaniel Chalobah, Will Hughes and others as they look to take the Premier League by storm.
