Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen is quietly having a brilliant start to the Premier League season, and the Dane is scoring fantasy points for fun. Currently fourth in Fantasy Premier League in scoring, the midfielder has tallied 30 points after just four fixtures.
The Dane has played well, but it is Tottenham’s next four fixtures that make Eriksen a perfect transfer. Swansea, West Ham, Huddersfield and Bournemouth are up next, and the player will add to his points total in those four fixtures. Late October and early November will see Spurs play Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal in the North London Derby, but Eriksen should be in fine form by the time the big boys come around.
Eriksen has one goal and three assists through four games, and has kept the team ticking despite Tottenham being identified as a club that would take a major step backwards this term. He is also yet to receive a card this season, a great stat that all FPL managers love.
With Sadio Mane missing through suspension, and Philippe Coutinho not featuring for Liverpool in the Premier League to this point, the Tottenham No. 10 is the perfect attacking midfielder to buy.
Ahead of gameweek 5, over 200,000 FPL managers have added Eriksen to their fantasy teams. It helps that he only costs £9.7, currently; a criminally cheap price for his overall output so far. With 7.5 points per game, Eriksen is the consistent player managers need.
Swansea will arrive at Wembley on Saturday, and Eriksen should continue to pull the strings for Spurs once more, and add points to his fantasy stats.
