Harry Kane is red hot and ready to score points in gameweek 7. Several of the Premier League’s elite goal scorers are playing well. However, Tottenham’s upcoming fixture list make him a great choice to be captain this week and following the international break. That is, if he isn’t injured.
Kane started the Premier League season slowly. The striker tallied a mere four points in the first three matches. In gameweek 4 he finally scored his first goal, two in fact, as Tottenham rolled over Everton 3-0. A poor result against Swansea the following week was proceeded by a 13 point haul against West Ham.
Why captain Kane in gameweek 7?
Tottenham take on Huddersfield in gameweek 7. Although Huddersfield have been good this term, the team haven’t won in their last four games. The Terriers have scored just one goal in that time. Sure, Huddersfield have only given up three goals in that time frame, but Tottenham are a step above.
Dangerous and in-form
Kane isn’t just dangerous in the Premier League, but the Englishman has been knocking in the goals in the Champions League. In two games, Kane has already scored five goals and added an assist. His play has made him one of the best strikers in all of Europe, and it has improved Spurs’ chances of progressing to the knockout stages.
Tottenham will travel to Huddersfield for Saturday’s fixture. Spurs have won all three road games played this term. Meanwhile, Huddersfield have won just once at home. Tottenham and Kane should have a great day on Saturday, and fantasy managers should reap the rewards.
