Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah won’t be at the club long, according to former Egypt international Mido. The former Middlesbrough striker believes Salah will be on the way to Spanish giants Real Madrid sooner rather than later.
Salah has scored 13 goals in 16 matches in all competitions this term. The Egyptian scored twice against Southampton in Liverpool’s win on Saturday.
Due to Salah’s excellent form this season, Mido has claimed the Liverpool winger will be courted by Spain’s elite in the coming transfer windows.
Mido gave his opinion on Salah via Twitter following Liverpool’s 3-0 win.
“Congratulations to @22mosalah on becoming Egyptian to Score the most goals in Europe and still got plenty to come,” Mido wrote.
“[I] remember when the Liverpool fans made fun of me when I said 3 years ago that Salah is 10 times better than (Raheem) Sterling.. well now they know I was right !! keep going son!!
“@22mosalah got the mentality to keep playing at the top level for many years and this is what we were all Egyptians r missing when we had the chance to play in Europe..
“I believe that Salah will not stay for long at @LFC!
“soon he will be gone to @realmadriden #HalaMadrid”.
Salah joined Liverpool from Roma during the summer transfer window. Salah has now scored in five of Liverpool’s last six matches. He has added three assists to his goals total.

Fantasy impact
Salah has been at the heart of everything Liverpool have done this term. He is the current FPL points leader. A move outside of the Premier League would hurt FPL teams throughout the leagues. If Salah left in midseason, FPL leagues would become much closer; and many managers would lose their top scorer.
