Liverpool vs Tottenham ended 2-2 after two controversial penalties were awarded to Spurs in the final five minutes plus stoppage time.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah opened the game with his 20th goal of the Premier League season. Tottenham’s Victor Wanyama equalised in the 80th minutes to leave the game on a knife’s edge. Four minutes later, Tottenham were awarded a penalty, but Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius made a dramatic save from a Harry Kane penalty to keep the game at 1-1. Minutes later, Salah scored his 21st Premier League goal with an incredible solo strike.
However, Liverpool’s win was not to be as Virgil van Dijk was adjudged to have taken done Erik Lamela in the penalty area. The call was made even more controversial when a video appeared online of the match’s linesman pumping his fist following the penalty being awarded.
Jurgen Klopp said following the match that the linesman “put himself in the middle” of the match by awarding the penalty. Harry stepped up to the spot after missing minutes earlier and struck a controversial equaliser.
Following the final whistle of Liverpool v Tottenham, Twitter reacted to the ending.
Incredibly bad officiating at Anfield. TWO blown PK calls at the end of the match steals the win from #Liverpool. The mistakes were obvious in real time by the announcers, fans and players.

Liverpool 2 – 2 Spurs
The penalties came as controversial as IBB's letter
Some say it is, some say it's Not.But one thing is sure, the 75m spent on Van Dijk is a waste
The last time "Millions" got wasted this badly was in 2015 when "15 million" votes was wasted on Buhari

What a game Liverpool vs Tottenham, was it match fixes? The linesmen was very happy after the second penalty was awarded

I think Redknapp (!!) made a good comment. Liverpool give it all but then in the second half start to run out of energy . That was evident as the game wore on. Needed another midfielder in the window. Surprised you didn't.
