The absence of both players could give Adam Lallana a place in midfield. The Englishman impressed last week against Burnley as the Reds won 4-2.
A win against Fulham would send Liverpool back to the top of the Premier League. Manchester City participated in the FA Cup quarterfinals at the weekend gaining a come from behind 3-2 victory over Swansea.
The fixture will be a tricky one for Liverpool after playing in midweek and knocking out Bayern Munich 3-1 on aggregate in the Champions League.
Fulham have no new injuries or suspensions. Caretaker manager Scott Parker will have a full squad to choose from.
Liverpool defeated Fulham in their previous encounter this season, 2-0, at Anfield. Fulham have beaten Liverpool just four times in their 28 meetings in all competitions.
The last five Premier League games between the two have been high scoring with two goals or more scored each of those games.
