Alexander-Arnold suffered a back injury which forced his withdrawal from Gareth Southgate’s England national team.
Meanwhile, Shaqiri is rehabilitating a groin injury. The problem was officially reported by Transfermarkt on March 18th. It typically takes six weeks for a full-blown groin injury to heal.
Klopp hopes Shaqiri can be called upon at Anfield. The Swiss midfielder hasn’t featured often for Liverpool since Christmas. However, Klopp could favour Shaqiri with league and European fixture congestion on the horizon.
