Borussia Dortmund star ‘likes’ the idea of joining Manchester United
Manchester United signed Bruno Fernandes in January for £62 million. His addition has overhauled Manchester United’s attack making the team more deadly in the final third. The Portuguese star has scored three goals and tallied three assists in both the Europa League and Premier League. The Red Devils are now looking for further attacking players to play with Fernandes and the biggest name linked to the club is Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.
On Monday, Manchester United supporters on social media were put into a frenzy when the winger is claimed to have ‘liked’ a post on Instagram that asked whether he should sign for Manchester United or not. The question was posed by ‘Globesoccer’. According to Manchester Evening News, the ‘like’ has since been removed from the Globesoccer post.

How would Sancho fit in a Manchester United?
Sancho is one of the hottest — if not the hottest — properties in world football right now and would automatically make Manchester United better in wide areas. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be able to play two pacey wingers on each flank in Sancho and Daniel James along with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial through the middle.
The manager would also have the option to play a 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-4-3, or 4-2-3-1 formation. His options would be quite plentiful, but limited outside of his first XI players.

Sancho has scored 17 goals and added 19 assists in 34 matches in all competitions. According to Transfermarkt, Sancho is valued at £108 million. However, some reports indicate Borussia Dortmund would want £120m for the winger.
The England international’s contract runs until 2022 at the Signal Iduna Park. The summer could be the perfect time for Borussia Dortmund to sell the attacking player but may hold out until the following offseason. Borussia Dortmund have shown previously they are not afraid to sell a player to other big clubs, however.
Jadon Sancho the most exciting player in Germany
German football continues to churn out good young footballers. It also remains a destination for young English players seeking first-team opportunities.
Sancho will turn 20-years-old later this month. He is in his prime and it is the perfect time for Manchester United to sign the winger. They will have competition from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain who got to see Sancho up close in the Champions League last 16. Rumours persist that Liverpool will also seek to sign the player but it is more likely the Reds will turn their attention elsewhere (Timo Werner).

Sancho’s per-game stats have been brilliant in the Bundesliga. He averages 2.3 key passes, 2.0 shots, and 2.6 dribbles per match, according to WhoScored.com. He completes 84.4% of his passing and 0.5 crosses per game as well. The winger would very likely settle in quickly as the Bundesliga is very similar in style and physicality to the Premier League.
While the winger has been linked to other clubs and ‘liked’ Globesoccer’s post, there is no guarantee he will leave in the offseason. He is said to be ‘very happy’ at Borussia Dortmund. Will the club be tempted to sell in the summer if a big fee is presented to them? It may come down to whether or not Borussia Dortmund win the Bundesliga this season.
