Manchester City put a bow on their United States tour with a preseason thrashing of Tottenham, 3-0, on Saturday night in Nashville, Tennessee. Tottenham’s summer has continued to stutter on as the team sold full-back Kyle Walker and are still yet to buy any new players. Adding to their woe was a miserable set of performances on their US tour.
Manchester City got goals from John Stones, Raheem Sterling and Brahim Diaz as the team routed their English Premier League rivals. The teams wins against Real Madrid and Tottenham in preseason has to be a good sign for

Manchester City now leave the US having won two of three International Champions Cup matches. Pep Guardiola’s men were beaten by Manchester United in their opening match, but defeated Real Madrid and Tottenham by a combined scored of 7-1. The team will play West Ham in one final preseason friendly.
Tottenham on the other hand, lost two of their three matches on the ICC tour. Despite being Paris Saint-Germain, Spurs were defeated by Roma and Manchester City. The team will now play Juventus in London on August 5th in their final preseason match.
