Liverpool and Chelsea drew 1-1 on Saturday evening at Anfield. Blues boss Antonio Conte has stated the Reds were lucky to come away with a draw after his side dominated the affair. Conte had complained about Chelsea’s fixture congestion coming into the match against Liverpool.
Liverpool took the lead through star midfielder Mohamed Salah only for Chelsea’s Willian to equalise later on. The draw left Liverpool outside the top four. Jurgen Klopp’s team are currently sixth on 23 points, which is three behind Arsenal. The Gunners won on Sunday afternoon thanks to a 92 minute winner at Burnley. Meanwhile, Chelsea are still in third, three points behind second place Manchester United.
With such a massive game and both teams dropping points, Twitter reacted with humour, anger and insight.

Until liverpool stop treating defensive midfield position so badly the defence will always struggle.we threw Gerrard there his last two seasons just to have him on the pitch and now because some softshite gave Henderson the captaincy we’re throwing him there for the same reason

United being 6 points clear of Liverpool is amazing considering we've had no number 10 for 2 months & Liverpool have the best attack & coach of all time….

Even Salah is getting pissed off at Liverpool constantly bottling leads. At least he knows fans feel about failing to hold on a lead. pic.twitter.com/R0qwgKiqsb

Rotating the squad is understandable with the schedule Liverpool face but why choose one of the biggest games of the season to do it? The Reds went into a gun fight without two of their most lethal weapons. (James Pearce)

César Azpilicueta has started in 74 consecutive games for Chelsea in the league. The man is an absolute machine.

Chelsea fans dragging Bakayoko as if he committed a crime. A guy you bought injured, a new league with so much physicality plus he's just 23 years.
It took money bag Pogba a year to adapt despite knowing the league?
Bakayoko is just a scapegoat, he's not that bad.
