Liverpool were defeated 3-1 by Real Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday night. Reds goalkeeper Loris Karius was at the centre of the final as the player’s two mistakes allowed Real Madrid to score twice.
Liverpool vs. Real Madrid
Real Madrid broke the deadlock thanks to Karim Benzema’s aggressive play. The Frenchman deflected the ball as Karius attempt to roll it out to his defence. The deflection went straight into the Liverpool goal.
Minutes later, Sadio Mane equalised for the Reds. However, Gareth Bale’s unbelievable overhead goal put Los Blancos on top for good.
Real Madrid got a second goal thanks to another Karius’ mistake. Bale unleashed a vicious shot from 30-yards that Karius attempt to palm down. However, the ball went right through his fingers and in to the goal.
Liverpool lost Mohamed Salah in the opening half through injury. Without Salah on the pitch, Real Madrid began to assert themselves on Liverpool. It was believed Salah went off with a dislocated shoulder.

So let me get this straight, Karius, not Klopp cost Liverpool the Final. But Mourinho, not Phil Jones cost United FA Cup right?
One day, you people will receive healing. One day.

Huge credit to Robertson and Trent last night. Two performances of the highest order on the very biggest stage for Liverpool. Remarkable to think one was an £8m transfer from Hull and the other is a 19-year-old local lad.

Some rival fans defending Ramos purely because they dislike Liverpool.
Ramos has a history of cheating and playing dirty.
Don't even think about complaining when he does it to one of your players.
