Manchester United will sign Neymar after PSG deal, according to Spanish media

Manchester United may have missed out on signing Neymar last summer, and never even tabled a bid this year; but that doesn’t mean he won’t end up at Old Trafford. In fact, it looks like Manchester United will sign Neymar in the near future.

Reports from Spanish media outlet Don Balon, state the Brazilian will leave Paris Saint-Germain and join Manchester United in the future. The Spanish news website has said Neymar will spend a few season with PSG before pushing through a deal with Manchester United, Real Madrid or Juventus.

All three clubs would have the financial ability to sign Neymar, who would be around 28-years old around that time. However, his transfer to either of those clubs depends on his performances with PSG. Of the three, Juventus seems the most unlikely of transfers as the Italians would most likely shy away from paying a large transfer fee for the attacker.

News of Neymar’s move to PSG was met with both excitement and disbelief by fans on Twitter. Jose Mourinho has already stated that the consequences of the player’s move will cause problems in the future.

Neymar now becomes the most expensive footballer in the world as he usurps Paul Pogba. The Frenchman arrived at Manchester United last season for €105 million.
