West Ham to hire Sean Dyche as Slaven Bilic replacement

West Ham are considering the hire of Burnley manager Sean Dyche to replace Slaven Bilic. Dyche has been in charge of Burnley since 2012. In 229 matches with Burnley, Dyche has recorded 91 wins, 66 draws and 72 losses.

Sean Dyche to East London

Dyche has been seen as one of the top up and coming English managers. He has been linked with several teams previously, but according to the English press, he is being lined up to officially takeover West Ham.

Bet Victor has listed Bilic as the Premier League’s most likely manager to be sacked next. He currently stands at 2/1 odds. Dyche is still only 8/1 to succeed Bilic at West Ham, making him sixth in current odds.

Pressure on Bilic

West Ham raced out to a quick 2-0 lead against Crystal Palace on Saturday. However, the Hammers gave up two second half goals as the teams drew at Selhurst Park. Crystal Palace’s leveller came in the sixth minute of second half stoppage time.

Bilic has been rumoured to have lost the dressing room as pressure has grown on his shoulders. In addition, West Ham’s board have been considering his removal as manager for some time. Bilic’s contract ends in the summer of 2018, and it is believed West Ham’s owners want him to see out his contract. However, West Ham have secured nine points from 30, leaving the club in 16th place.

Although Dyche is being linked to the West Ham job, he is also being considered as the next manager at Everton.
