Jose Mourinho delighted with Alexis Sanchez Manchester United goal

Jose Mourinho was delighted with Alexis Sanchez Manchester United goal on Saturday. Manchester United defeated Huddersfield 2-0 at Old Trafford and moved six points ahead of third place Liverpool.

Sanchez’s performance against Huddersfield made up for a poor match against Tottenham in midweek. The Chilean scored in the 68th minute as he tallied Manchester United’s second goal.

“Nice for him to play well and show the desire and happiness in playing football,” Mourinho said.

“That is most important. It was not the goal of his dreams, but it is a goal.”

Sanchez Manchester United goal was his first since arriving from Arsenal in January.

Sanchez’s teammate Nemanja Matic also spoke about the midfielder’s impact.

“Alexis Sanchez played really well and he will be a very important player for us with his quality,” Matic said.

“He is very good on the ball and does a great job defensively.

“This win is good for our confidence and we have to fight ’til the end. Every game in the Premier League is a war. We have to stay focused until the end.”

Fantasy impact – Alexis Sanchez

Despite Sanchez’s good overall play and being praised by Mourinho and Matic, the Chilean didn’t have a big impact on Fantasy Premier League. Sanchez just scored five points in gameweek 26. It keeps him as the fifth leading FPL player on Manchester United with 104 points. In two games with Manchester United, Sanchez has scored just seven total FPL points.
