Lyon’s Nabil Fekir is looking more and more likely to move to Liverpool when the transfer window opens in July. Numerous sports pages in England and France have been dedicated to Fekir to Liverpool headlines in the past few days. The midfielder has now made hints he wants to move to Anfield.

The Lyon captain has raised speculation he will move to Liverpool after saying ‘players won’t stay at one club forever’. The 24-year-old has tallied 17 goals in Ligue 1 this term and could fit into Liverpool’s attacking lineup as either a central midfielder or as a winger.

How would Nabil Fekir fit in a Liverpool?

As speculation over Fekir to Liverpool continues to grow, the midfielder recently spoke to the press.

“The president told me, like he told everyone else when they signed their contracts, that we have the possibility to talk whenever I want to leave,” Fekir told L’Equipe .

“Nobody signs for life in a club. It doesn’t work like that.

“But I don’t have a free pass to leave. I have a contract until 2020. I’ll let destiny handle the rest.

“I’m in Lyon for two more games and then we’ll see.

“For now, there’s nothing. The president trusts me and I feel good at Lyon.”

Fekir is being valued at £45 million.
