FPL managers may be surprised to find out that Lucas Moura is actually Tottenham’s second-leading scorer in fantasy football. The forward has registered 68 points, 18 behind Harry Kane and three in front of Kieran Trippier. Moura is a bargain at £7 million. Spurs’ upcoming fixture list should give FPL managers hope the Brazilian will tally points galore.

Tottenham play Burnley in gameweek 17 before clashing with Everton, Bournemouth, and Wolverhampton Wanderers before the end of the year.

Moura has recorded four matches in which he has scored seven points or more. While that may not be ideal for some FPL managers, Tottenham’s upcoming fixtures and Moura’s price make him a solid buy.

Gameweek 3 was Moura’s best outing as he tallied 15 points against Manchester United. Manager Mauricio Pochettino has elected not to play Moura a full 90 minutes in the last seven gameweeks. Moura hasn’t played past the 78-minute mark if he has started a game.

Moura has five goals and one assist in 1,152 minutes of Premier League action. He has contributed to a goal every 192 minutes. He has also been a part of eight clean sheets.

The Tottenham player’s price peaked at £7.4m but has since declined to a fantastic £7m. In gameweek 16, nearly 603,000 FPL managers snapped up the Spurs forward. Ten percent of FPL teams have selected Moura.

Moura’s points per match is attractive as he averages 4.5 a game.

Tottenham and Brazilian forward Lucas Moura will be confident they can take all three points against Burnley. Playing at Wembley, Spurs will continue their fine play against one of the league’s strugglers. Will Moura add to your FPL team? It is a great week to select him.
