Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is in brilliant form. The Englishman is playing his best football of the season under manager Maurizio Sarri.
The midfielder tallied 13 points against Brighton on Wednesday night in his best Fantasy Premier League points return this term. It came on the back of a six-point FPL haul. Now, can he continue his form?
Will Ruben Loftus-Cheek be fit for Chelsea against West Ham?
According to Sarri, Loftus-Cheek has been playing with an injured back all season. He was substituted during Chelsea’s win over Brighton. Loftus-Cheek could miss out against West Ham due to a hamstring injury. The player is currently listed as 75 percent likely to play.
Loftus-Cheek’s form is so good, Sarri cannot leave him out of the starting XI. FPL managers should leave him out either, at least not after his recent run of form.
He has tallied 19 FPL points in his last two games. That is an average of 9.5 points a game.
The good news for FPL manager is Chelsea will not play West Ham until Monday night. Loftus-Cheek will have an extra 24- to 48-hours to recoup before Chelsea take the pitch at Stamford Bridge.
Loftus-Cheek’s price is at £5.2 million. His price has been rooted at £5.2m all season, but only now is Loftus-Cheek worth the money.
Just over 26,400 FPL managers selected Loftus-Cheek for gameweek 32. Will more draft in the Chelsea man this weekend?
