Jose Mourinho has revealed he has no plans of Manchester United being his last job in football management. The Red Devils’ boss is in his second season with the Old Trafford outfit. Fans expect him to be with the club for years to come after a strong 18 months in charge. However, that may not be the case.
Mourinho won’t finish at Old Trafford
Mourinho has raised eyebrows thanks to comments he made on French television. He stated Paris Saint-Germain are a “fantastic” club. His comments have made many believe PSG could be his next port of call as a manager.
“I’m still a coach with worries, with ambitions, and with the desire to do new things,” the manager said.
Mourinho’s comments were made on France’s TF1’s Telefoot, and fans back in Manchester have expressed worry that Mourinho could leave after just a few years at Old Trafford. When asked about finishing his career at Manchester United, the Portuguese coach shot down the idea.
“I don’t believe, no, I’m sure that I won’t end my career here,” Mourinho said.
He was also asked why his son had recently been to Paris to watch PSG play.
“Why Paris? Because there’s something special. Magic, quality, youth, it’s fantastic,” he stated.
Manchester United drew with Liverpool on Saturday in a 0-0 match. The team recorded just one shot on target. The draw, coupled with Manchester City’s win, leave the Red Devils in second place, two points behind their rivals.
