Chelsea fans have expressed their desire for midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko to leave the club immediately after the team’s latest loss on Saturday.
Chelsea were defeated by West Ham, 1-0, in Saturday’s early game. It was Chelsea’s fourth loss of the season and kept them rooted to third place in the Premier League.
Bakayoko had an ‘awful’ match in the eyes of Chelsea fans after he was removed from the game after a shocking first 45 minutes of action. The £40 million summer transfer replaced Nemanja Matic, who was sold to Manchester United during the window.
Manager Antonio Conte ruled Matic an unnecessary player to keep at Chelsea, something the club’s board did not agree with at the time. The two sides butted heads as Conte removed Matic and Diego Costa from the team; two players he seemed not to see eye-to-eye with.
Chelsea’s fans have pleaded with Bakayoko’s former club Monaco to re-sign him in January. Supporters have taken to Twitter to express their anger at the midfielder.
When Ferdinand said Bakayoko doesn’t know which position he plays, I thought he was just joking. A waste of space for sure. His awareness is disgraceful.

I knew something was a bit off about this Bakayoko.
Chelsea tabled a bid, no other club dragged him with them.
Monaco didn't demand for more money.Smh.

It wasn’t just Chelsea fans who criticised the midfielder on Saturday as pundit Jamie Redknapp also weighed in on the midfielder.
“Bakayoko was poor”, Redknapp stated. “What Pedro does is given them a bit of pace.”
Chelsea are looking at options for players to sign in January, however, a defensive midfielder has not be one that has been mentioned.
Some football fans and pundits have revised their think of Bakayoko after his first five months at Stamford Bridge. Many now feel the midfielder benefited from the excellent play of teammates Fabinho and teammates during Monaco’s Ligue 1 title winning season a year ago.
Chelsea fans, should Tiemoue Bakayoko be sold immediately or does the midfielder deserve more time to bed into the Chelsea squad? Was selling Matic and Costa the root of all of Chelsea’s problems this term?
