Identifying three clubs that could take Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur

With former Spurs favourite Gary Lineker warning that Tottenham could be in danger of losing star forward Harry Kane should they continue to be on the periphery of silverware successes, we take a look at the three main clubs that we feel could offer Kane a route out of White Hart Lane (or Wembley as it currently is) and give him the medals that his dazzling form and goal scoring record clearly merits.

REAL MADRID

We feel that Madrid would be one of the favourites to capture Kane – not only would Spurs much prefer for Kane to leave the Premier League should they know his fate his sealed, but a move to Madrid would be one that no-one could really deny him. To display his talents at the Bernabeu, in front of 80,000 passionate fans per game, potentially linking up with the likes of Kroos, Modric, Bale and of course a certain Cristiano Ronaldo, and playing for, arguably, the worlds most famous club, would be a certain head-turner for the forward, who will be well aware of the scoring record of the likes of Karim Benzema, who most would consider inferior to Kane, and feel he could keep pace with his current record of 128 goals in 194 Spurs appearances….if not better it. Although Los Blancos are having a relatively poor season in domestically by their standards, Kane would know there would be a season by season assault on every competition entered with a more than realistic chance of quickly filling his own trophy cabinet whilst playing alongside some of the worlds best players. A stage many feel he already belongs on.

MANCHESTER UNITED

It would not go down well with Spurs fans to see Kane move from the capital to Manchester – but the red of United would be much more likely to appeal to Kane than the blue of City, despite their current dominance in the Premier League. Like it or not, United remain the biggest draw of all English clubs, and would have the ability to finance a move, including what would be a staggering wage. Kane would immediately become the darling of all at Old Trafford, who would defend him vocally from what would no doubt be some merciless treatment from opposing fans – but Kane would seem to have the temperament and confidence to deal with this, whilst keeping up the scoring record that could just tip United over the edge where the Premier and Champions League are concerned. Plus we would love to see Mourinho working with Kane!

PARIS ST GERMAIN

The French outfit have shown that they are not shy of splashing the Euros where bringing in big name strikers are concerned – and although they already boast the likes of Neymar Jr, Mbappe, Di Maria, Cavani et al, they would certainly be attracted to Kane, as they look to become the dominant force in European football. Playing at the Parc de Princes in the PSG blue could well be attractive to Kane, knowing they have a virtual lock on their domestic league and cup – but it is the Champions League they really want, having never won it before, and that would be very high on the list of priorities for Kane, who could just see PSG as having more chance to win this before the two previously mentioned clubs do (again).

Its clear that Kane is currently quite settled and enjoying life with Spurs – but as Lineker warns, when the big boys come sniffing, it is hard to ignore them. The longer Tottenham go without lifting a trophy of any kind, Kane well may start to feel his efforts are in vain, and wonder just what life would be like elsewhere, as he certainly would not be short of options.
