Seamus Coleman revitalised under manager Marco Silva
Coleman has tallied a total of 80 Fantasy Premier League points. Twenty-four of those points have come in Coleman’s last three fixtures.
The right-back has not only played well in those fixtures, but Everton have gained results. The Toffees defeated Cardiff City and Chelsea while gaining a draw against Liverpool.
Their only loss came at the hands of Newcastle. It was a match in which Coleman didn’t play.
Coleman has recently been handed the Republic of Ireland armband. It is a reward for his recent brilliant form.
Seamus Coleman form reflects Everton’s season
The full-back’s FPL season is a microcosm of Everton’s season. Coleman has experienced negative points returns followed by good games. His individual inconsistency and Everton’s as a whole have prevented him from bigger FPL gains.
Everton travel to West Ham on Saturday for the late fixture. The Hammers won the last meeting between the sides 3-1. Everton’s form has recovered since then. Coleman’s play has been proof of the Toffees’ improvement in recent weeks.
Can Everton win away at West Ham?
Everton have not beaten West Ham away in the Premier League since 2015. The fixture saw the Toffees win 2-1. The clubs have played seven more times since then with Everton winning just twice. Seven of the eight matches have ended with over 1.5 goals.
In early March, Coleman urged Everton to be patient with Silva. Coleman’s words came following the team’s draw with Liverpool.
Can Everton now kick on under Silva’s management? He has weathered the storm and further investment could see Everton improve next season.
With Everton taking on West Ham in gameweek 32. Coleman is ready to continue his great FPL form.
