Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and Heung-Min Son head into gameweek 20 in fantastic form. The duo scored 13 Fantasy Premier League points apiece in gameweek 19 as Spurs crushed Bournemouth 5-0. It was the team’s second straight win of five goals or more and the dynamic duo has been at the centre of squad’s excellent play.
Christian Eriksen – £9.3 million
Christian Eriksen has recorded 71 FPL points this season. The Danish midfielder has registered two double-digit gameweeks. Eriksen has tallied three goals and seven assists this term in 1,060 minutes of Premier League play. He has contributed to a goal or an assist every 106 minutes on the pitch.
Since playing Chelsea in gameweek 13, Eriksen has averaged seven FPL points a week.
The last time Tottenham played Wolverhampton Wanderers, Eriksen only scored one point in a 31 minute performance. Based on his current form, Eriksen should do far better against Wolves at Wembley on Saturday.
Heung-Min Son – £8.8 million
Heung-Min Son is a nice buy at just £8.8m. He is Spurs’ second-leading FPL scorer behind Harry Kane with 86 points. Son’s last seven games have been brilliant, but it is his last two gameweeks that have really turned heads.
The South Korean scored 21 FPL points in 78 minutes against Everton before tallying 13 against Bournemouth in 87 minutes. Son has only played a total of 822 Premier League minutes. His points return for his time on the pitch has been phenomenal.
Son averages a goal or an assist every 68.5 minutes on the pitch. His goal and assist ratio has him as arguably the most in-form player in the Premier League.
Tottenham versus Wolverhampton Wanderers
Spurs midfielder Dele Alli will be back in the team against Wolverhampton. It could force Eriksen or Son to the bench. If Alli is fit enough to start, manager Mauricio Pochettino may favour to rest his key players as the fixtures continue t come fast and furious.
