Fill your boots! 5 Fantasy Midfielders for gameweek 4

Transfer day is upon us, and fantasy football managers will be intrigued by the moves being made. The moves in the English Premier ague could directly affect your fantasy team, and one more here or there could see one of your players increase his stats immediately.

Things could go the opposite way, and a top player could see a decline in numbers. It is all to play for now, as we look at 5 fantasy football midfielders for gameweek 4 in the English Premier League.

Eden Hazard – Chelsea
After a year of mediocre play under Jose Mourinho, Eden Hazard looks to have found his missing form. Two goals in three matches has many at Stamford Bridge expecting big things from the Belgian. He will cost a bit of cash, but he has been impressive thus far. Per game he is averaging 4.7 shots, 5.7 dribbles and two key passes. Hazard should be in your squad, if you can afford him.

Cristhian Stuani – Middlesbrough
A relative unknown, Cristhian Stuani ranks third in WhoScored.com’s top 10 of English Premier League players. The Argentine has scored twice in two games. Played on the right side of Middlesbrough’s attack, Stuani hasn’t completely clicked with the side despite winning man of the match in week two. His rating by WhoScored.com could just be an anomaly in the Premier League’s early season, so be aware. Otherwise, he should be a cheap pick up for your fantasy football team for gameweek 4.

Paul Pogba – Manchester United
Paul Pogba will cost your fantasy English Premier League team some serious cash. However, the Frenchman looks destined to do great things at Manchester United. Although he has no goals or assist currently, it is the potential that you are buying with Pogba. He is capable of brilliance, and could unleash it at any time. In two games, he is averaging 2.5 interceptions, an 85% pass success rate and 1.5 key passes. Pogba will come good on his addition to any fantasy sports team.

Claudio Yacob – West Brom
When it comes to defensive midfielders, West Brom’s Claudio Yacob is the man for your fantasy football team. With 5.3 tackles and 3.3 interceptions, Yacob should be a brilliantly shrewd piece of business. Yacob is strictly a defensive piece to your midfield, so don’t expect goals from 20 or 30-yards out. He will win tackles for your fantasy side.

Idrissa Gueye – Everton
Another defensive minded midfielder that will win tackles for your fantasy football team. Gueye is averaging 5.3 tackles and 1.7 interceptions per game. He also offers an 88% pass success rate to your Premier League fantasy side. Like Yacob, he isn’t flashly. However, he will win the ball and make accurate passes to get it forward.

Bonus midfielder:

Etienne Capoue – Watford
With two goals from three matches, Capoue is a bonus selection that makes him a great choice for gameweek 4. The midfielder also averages 3.3 tackles and 3.3 interceptions a game. He is the complete package at the minute as Capoue scores goals, plays well defensively and completes 81.5% of his passes. Don’t pass up on adding Capoue for your next fantasy football fixture.
