Gabriel Jesus a must for Gameweek 25 FPL

premier league, fantasy football, fpl, fantasy sports

Gabriel Jesus is in splendid form and he is a must for your gameweek 25 Fantasy Premier League team. Jesus is playing brilliantly and has already made Manchester City fans forget about Sergio Aguero.

Gabriel Jesus definitely gets into our top 5 FPL forwards for gameweek 25, but who else joins him?

Jermain Defoe – Sunderland

Games: 24; Goals: 14; Total FPL points: 136

Jermain Defoe’s 13 points in gameweek 24 got him into the FPL team of the week, which naturally gets him into our top 5 for gameweek 25.

The Sunderland forward is in-form, and with 58% of Sunderland’s goals this season, expect him to notch quite a few more.

His two goal return against Crystal Palace was his best for a few weeks, but don’t expect him to slow down in gameweek 25 against Southampton. The Saints have lost five of their last six matches.

Gabriel Jesus – Manchester City

Games: 3; Goals: 3; Total FPL points: 25

Gabriel Jesus is the man of the hour and the player Manchester City fans believe will get the team back in the title race. Unfortunately, that race is all but over.

Jesus has been brilliant since arriving at the Etihad in January and he has revitalised a stale side.

City should easily win their next three matches against Bournemouth, Sunderland and Stoke. How many FPL points Jesus tallies is the real question.

Romelu Lukaku – Everton

Games: 23; Goals: 16; Total FPL points: 140

You can’t keep a good man down, and Romelu Lukaku proved that in gameweek 24’s mauling of Bournemouth. The Belgian scored four goals against the Cherries as he tallied 21 points.

Lukaku was on fire in the fixture and it was his first double-digit performance since gameweek 20.

The next two gameweeks are full of points potential as Lukaku and company take on Middlesbrough and Sunderland. Get him in your side.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Manchester United

Games: 23; Goals: 15; Total FPL points: 140

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s six point performance against Leicester in gameweek 24 was a decent return as the Swede had hit an FPL points dry spell.

Ibrahimovic is still second in points for forwards and he has the potential for big returns over the next seven gameweeks. Ibrahimovic is a must due to potential as Manchester United should roll in the coming games.

Diego Costa – Chelsea

Games: 22; Goals: 15; Total FPL points: 137

Sticking with the FPL big guns for our gameweek 25 top 5 forwards, Diego Costa goes up against Burnley this weekend.

Last time out, Costa tallied two assists against Arsenal in an eight point performance. Although he scored just five points against Burnley in this season’s previous meeting, Chelsea are playing at home; and the team should be far more dominant at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are on an easy run currently and have favourable matches coming up against poor Premier League sides. Costa deserves a spot in your fantasy team.
