How did Everton fans react following the team’s 2-2 Europa League draw with Apollon Limassol?

Everton fans have reacted negatively following the team’s 2-2 draw against European minnows Apollon Limassol in the Europa League.

Everton were unable to make a man advantage count in the fixture as Apollon came from behind to score a legendary draw at Goodison Park. Wayne Rooney levelled the fixture for Everton following Adrian Sardinero’s 12th minute opener for Apollon.

Everton’s Nikola Vlasic scored the team’s second and it looked like Everton would go on to win once Valentin Roberge was sent off for the visitors in the 86th minute. However, Apollon’s Hector Yuste scored two minutes later to seal a dramatic point.

Everton fans, pundits and media have all taken to social media following the Europa League draw. The dropped points put Everton bottom of the group with one point, and once again heaps pressure on manager Ronald Koeman. The Everton boss is 3/1 to leave Goodison next, according to Sky Bet.
